Using structured light for 3D reconstruction is preferrable for high-accuracy and high-speed 3D model acquisition, since users can control the patterns (signal) to be projected on objects (Active method of 3D reconstruction). Main research focuses on the pattern algorithm development and mathematical analysis for the 3D result.
